Ok lets all just stop and swoon! first of all how amazing does David Beckham always look! He wears a suit like none other and THE David Beckham is always seen holding/cuddling his baby girl!! who also has the coolest name - Harper Seven!! LOVES it!! I'm such a daddy's girl myself and Love to see daddy daughter moments! le sigh!!

The Wedding Guest {inspiration board}

The title of this post makes me laugh because I think of the movie the wedding singer with drew barrymore and adam sandler and his terrible 80s hair! but thats NOT what is happening here. we are here to discuss the anxiety and fabulousness of tracking down a dress to wear as a wedding guest. Summers are full of fun things from tans to barbeque to the beach but it is also the most popular season for weddings. And this year is no exception. It seems everyone and their momma got engaged and is getting married this year lol! So lets find me a wedding guest dress. here's my inspiration:

ride baby ride

this weekend I met up with some friends to have some frozen yogurt from one of the thousands of frozen yogurt places popping up in the DMV. One of the beautiful girls came over riding her bike and we were all enamored by how cute her bike was! It was a Scwhinn Bicycle and SO cute! It made me instantly want one to ride around the neighborhood on. How cute would that be for short quick trips around the neighborhood? you get in your exercise and its better than walking. not to mention you can get one with a basket on the back to hold all your treasures.

Skin Care Product Review: Boscia Clear Complexion

This is the Boscia Clear Complexion Kit and this is my review

Its extremely hard to find a product that a black woman with sensitive skin can use that doesn't lighten her skin or dry it out or have an allergic reaction to. When I started using Boscia, on a recommendation from a friend, she suggested certain products like the black mask but i wanted something to deal with my mild acne and clear up the scars on my face. So i went to Sephora to try and find a good cleanser and system to clear up my acne and have a skin that without makeup looks beautiful. 

I started using this system and it did exactly what it was supposed to do: I broke out at the outset and it made my skin brighter and started to heal the acne scars on my face. 

except it also started to lighten my skin. I'm not sure if it is simply removing the top layer of dead skin or if that is a positive affect of using this skin care product. 

So i wanted to warn my Black sisters, when deciding to use this product it will clear the acne and heal scars but it may also lighten your skin.

I'm going to try the Boscia purifying cleanser instead and let you know what the results are.
